by Saad Durrani  January 16, 2014

Almost a fortnight ago, we published our predictions for the Cloud industry in 2014. Our community manager then built conversations around it. We are just amazed by in-depth responses of the participants present in these discussions.

We are thankful to Adam Iscoff-Daigian (Product Manager at Elasticbox),  Janakiram MSV (Cloud and DevOps Enthusiast), and Ryan Hughes (Leading IT Marketing Consultant). A special thanks also goes to Alberto Arias Maestro for promoting the discussion. Now let’s see what these gentlemen have to say!

Big Data

It seems everyone is excited about big data in 2014 as well. The perceptions from the industry clearly show that big data and its uses are now diversifying.

PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service)

And, how can we forget PaaS? 2013 saw PaaS growing by leaps and bounds with a glitch here and there. However, according to our cloud experts, 2014 looks very promising for PaaS.

Interesting predictions, I agree with most of them, but I would add for this list another debuting cloud system – ComZetta. Its new cloud designated for small and medium business. They offer several intriguing options, like secured connection or automatic data backup. Find more info on their site http://comzetta.com/en/
