Q.Will there be any false positives?
This solution (powered by Imunify360) is designed from the ground up to minimize false positives. However, in case you wish to restore any cleaned files, you can do so from the management interface.
Q. Will this interfere with my security plugin?
This solution operates on a higher level as compared to plugin alternatives. Hence there shouldn’t be any interference.
Q. Does this include Malware scanning?
To help ensure that all our customers are informed whenever malware is detected on their websites, we’ll be enabling malware scanning across all apps hosted on Cloudways for no additional cost. Customers can then choose to either activate our Malware Protection add-on for automated malware removal or integrate their own solution.
Q. How does this differ from the Cloudways Vulnerability Scanner?
The Cloudways Vulnerability scanner utilizes Patchstacks database of security vulnerabilities to update you when your WordPress applications have vulnerable plugins & themes. Whereas the Malware Protection add-on scans & detects malware that may have been injected using these vulnerabilities & eliminates them before harm is done.
