Can I edit and customize my website after it’s generated?
Absolutely. After your website is generated, you can customize it in three different ways:
- AI Chat – Describe the changes you want in plain language and let AI apply them.
- Visual Editor – Click on any element to edit text, colors, fonts, spacing, layouts, and more.
- Code Editor – Make advanced customizations if you prefer working with code.
Will my website be optimized for search engines and mobile devices?

How do I connect my own domain?
Once your website is published, open the Domain Management section in application settings. From there, you can connect your own domain by following the guided setup process.
What are AI Credits?
Each website comes with 20 AI Credits per month. AI Credits are only used when the AI makes changes to your website.
One AI-powered website modification = One AI Credit, regardless of whether it's a small edit or a complete section redesign. Talking to the AI doesn't use credits. You can freely ask questions, brainstorm ideas, or get recommendations.
Can I purchase additional AI Credits?
Yes. If you run out of your monthly credits, you can purchase additional AI Credit top-ups at any time as a one-time purchase.

What happens when my AI Credits are exhausted?
Your per-website AI Credits automatically resets every month. However, if you run out of your monthly AI Credits, you can purchase additional AI Credit top-ups at any time as a one-time purchase.
These packs start at 20 AI Credits, with a limit of 200 AI Credits per order, and have no recurring subscription. You can purchase multiple top-ups at any time. Purchased AI Credits top-ups are rolled into your current AI Credits balance.
What happens when the Public Preview ends?
When the Public Preview ends and AI Website Builder becomes generally available, you'll need to subscribe to a paid plan to keep your website live and continue using the product. We'll notify you by email in advance, giving you plenty of time to choose whether you'd like to continue.
What happens to my AI Credits and top-ups when Public Preview ends?
Your monthly AI Credit allocation is tied to your active plan. When you move to a paid plan after Public Preview, you'll start fresh with the credit allocation of your new plan. Any top-up credits you purchased during Public Preview remain in your account and are yours to use, they don't expire when Public Preview ends, and they don't reset monthly like plan credits do.
What happens if I cancel my AI Website Builder subscription?
Your deployed website will still be accessible, but you will not be able to make any edits or create new websites with Cloudways AI Website Builder.
