Motivation is the Achilles heel for many entrepreneurs and startup owners. You’d assume that the more innovative an entrepreneur is, the more motivated he is to pursue his business or startup idea to fruition, right?
Not really. The reality is that many entrepreneurs often lose heart, especially after the first failure. Research from Statista shows that out of the many reasons why startups fail, loss of focus, lack of passion, and burnouts are the among the most common.
So how can entrepreneurs stay committed to their startup ideas? We asked 9 influencers to share their tips.

Honestly, if motivation is an issue for you then you should probably reevaluate what your working on. The whole point of picking a startup is to work on something you can be married to for years, even if it’s not making money. Passion is what drives successful projects.

That can be a challenge during the early stages after the excitement of the idea wears off and you start running into roadblocks! I think the ability to switch off and come back fresh helps, and building the right support structure – whether that’s co-founders, an accelerator etc
