Cloudways Managed AI Agent Hosting is now generally available. You can deploy and run AI agents on dedicated, managed infrastructure directly from your Cloudways dashboard, with provisioning, security patching, and day to day operational upkeep managed for you.
Since the public preview, we have expanded the platform in three ways.
You can now deploy Hermes in addition to OpenClaw. Both agents support Slack, Discord, Telegram, and WhatsApp as connected communication channels. And with general availability, the platform moves to standard pricing, with a special discounted rate for instances you launched during public preview.
Two Agents, Built for Different Ways of Working
Cloudways Managed AI Agent Hosting now supports OpenClaw and Hermes, two widely used AI agent frameworks. Both run on the same managed infrastructure, with the same security handling, LLM integrations and channel support. The right choice depends on how you want your agent to work.
OpenClaw is built as a multi-agent control plane. It is designed for multi-channel routing, for managing persistent teams of specialized agents, and for working across a broad ecosystem of integrations. It suits environments where multiple agents need to collaborate across platforms.
Hermes, developed by Nous Research, is an open source, self-improving autonomous agent runtime designed to run persistently on infrastructure you control. Rather than coordinating a team of agents, Hermes is built around a single, always-on runtime intended to become more efficient over time. It maintains cross-session memory and is designed to turn repeated multi-step workflows into reusable skills that it can refine as it iterates. It is designed to work across terminals, APIs, and chat channels, and can manage files, execute code, and run background automations.
Why Offer Both OpenClaw and Hermes
Offering both options is intended to help you pick the architectural model that fits your workflow, whether that calls for structured multi-agent orchestration or a single, evolving assistant.
OpenClaw is oriented toward coordinating multiple specialized agents at once, across channels and integrations, in environments where that kind of orchestration adds value.
In contrast, Hermes is oriented toward a single runtime that is designed to grow more capable and more efficient the longer it runs, rather than toward managing a team of agents.

Connect to the Channels (and APIs) Your Team Already Uses
Both OpenClaw and Hermes agents support Slack, Discord, Telegram, and WhatsApp as communication channels. You can connect any of these channels directly from your Cloudways dashboard, whenever you are ready to add them. There is no separate account creation or additional vendor to manage. Setup steps are handled within the dashboard, and requirements may vary by channel, since each is subject to that platform’s own terms and policies.
Security and Reliability, Handled for You
Running an AI agent in production involves ongoing security and maintenance work, usually in the form of validating updates, managing backups, and keeping the underlying server updated and protected. With Cloudways Managed AI Agent Hosting, this operational work is handled as part of the platform, for both OpenClaw and Hermes deployments.
Every agent instance receives security patches for the agent software and the underlying infrastructure as they become available, without requiring you to track disclosures or manually apply infrastructure updates. Automated backups run on every deployment, so that if an update or configuration change causes unexpected behavior, you have the option to restore to a previous known state.
You retain full SSH/SFTP access to your instance, with credentials available directly in the Cloudways dashboard, so you can inspect logs, debug behavior, and customize your setup as needed. This is provided as standard on every plan.
One Platform for Apps and Agents
If you already run applications on Cloudways, deploying an agent does not require a new vendor, new credentials, or a separate invoice. Your agent runs in the same dashboard as your applications, is billed to the same account, and is supported by the same team.

Pricing at General Availability
With general availability, the free usage period from public preview has ended, and standard pricing is now in effect. To welcome new and returning users to the general availability launch, we are offering a special discounted rate for the instances you launched during the public preview period (eligibility requirements and terms apply).
If you deployed an agent during public preview and want to keep using it, no action is required on your part. Your instance will continue running as it does today, and the applicable charges will appear on your monthly invoice going forward.
