Farhan: Hi Alessandro, great to have you with us! Could you tell our readers a little bit about yourself and your digital agency? How and when did you start in the industry?
Alessandro: Hi, I’m Alessandro Simion, a professional UI/UX designer and Front-end Web developer based in Venice. My experience in the world of Graphic Design began in 2001. Since then I have always tried to improve myself as a designer and improve things around me. Over the years, I have grown with new ideas and design trends. Currently, I am living in Italy and freelancing all over the world.
Farhan: You run a multi-service agency. What is your experience with WordPress and how important is it for you? What’s the go-to web solution for your clients?
Alessandro: I am freelancing and working for direct clients and for clients of other agencies. I work with the WordPress CMS and with Prestashop for eCommerce solutions. WordPress is certainly the best-performing CMS developed so far. It allows you to manage many work cases with few resources.
Farhan: You’ve been in the web industry a long time. What were the challenges you faced in the beginning? How has the hosting industry changed over the past years?
Alessandro: I have been working in this field for about 15 years. The initial problems, especially in the Italian market, were to emerge in the business, to make myself known. The world of hosting has changed from year to year so I chose a flexible platform like Cloudways.
