QodeBites is a software house built around e-commerce. The team designs websites, mobile applications, automations, and Shopify apps for online businesses across multiple industries and international markets, alongside ongoing maintenance, support, and conversion rate optimization work for its clients.
As an official Shopify partner, QodeBites builds and maintains Shopify apps, deploys Next.js and Node.js applications, and manages WordPress and WooCommerce sites for clients worldwide. The team also relies on its own internal tools to keep operations running day to day.
Much of that work depended on manual server administration inside Cloudways, a routine that quietly consumed hours across the team every week. What changed once QodeBites adopted the Cloudways MCP server tells a clear story about where that time went, and where it went instead.

Before Cloudways MCP server, QodeBites handled server and application setup by hand. Creating new applications, generating credentials, uploading files, and adjusting server or application settings all required someone on the team to log in and work through each step manually.
As Mohamed ElQadi, Founder of QodeBites, explained, “We had a few challenges that maybe using the AI world right now could be expedited.”
The heaviest recurring cost was routine, not exceptional. Creating and configuring new applications on Cloudways to deploy software was a daily task across the team, repeated by multiple people doing similar work independently.
“We had to go manually to Cloudways to create some configurations, to create a new application, maybe to create new credentials, upload, maybe create some files or change something in the server or the applications.” — Mohamed ElQadi
When something needed support beyond what the team could resolve alone, reaching Cloudways support helped, but even a short wait added up. ElQadi noted the support team was responsive, though the time spent waiting was still time spent on something repetitive and, in his view, avoidable.
QodeBites connected the Cloudways MCP server to the AI tools already in its workflow, including Claude Code. Tasks that once required manual entry, creating applications, generating credentials, adjusting configurations, could now run through the connected tools, with the team simply reviewing and approving the changes.
That automation extended across every part of QodeBites’ stack: Shopify app development and hosting, Next.js and Node.js deployments, WordPress and WooCommerce sites, and internal tooling. Rather than logging into Cloudways to check on each project individually, the team let the MCP server handle the repetitive layer of setup and maintenance.

Monitoring shifted from reactive to proactive as a result. Where the team previously relied on the Cloudways panel and email or Slack alerts to catch problems, MCP allowed issues, whether performance, security, or update conflicts, to be identified and resolved automatically, often before they affected a live site.
“It’s more like we have our AI assistants doing our server work for us instead of having to do this ourselves.” — Mohamed ElQadi
The time savings showed up first at the individual level. Each team member had been spending roughly thirty minutes a day on manual Cloudways tasks. Multiplied across the team and across a month, that added up to a meaningful chunk of recovered working time.
At least one hour a day in overall productivity and shipping time gained, by ElQadi’s estimate.
At least 30 minutes a day previously spent per team member on manual server tasks, now reclaimed.
10 to 15 percent improvement in time to ship a product or solution.
Beyond the hours, the shift changed how QodeBites handles risk. Automated, ready-made solutions for recurring issues meant the team could catch problems before they surfaced, rather than responding after the fact.
“I believe [Cloudways MCP] improved our productivity or maybe shipping time by at least one hour a day.” — Mohamed ElQadi
QodeBites already had the expertise to launch and manage servers manually, but speed changes the calculus. With MCP handling the repetitive layer of setup and monitoring, the team resolves issues faster and keeps closer watch over projects through the week and on weekends, freeing them to focus on scaling delivery for clients rather than the infrastructure behind it.

Connect your AI tools to Cloudways and let MCP handle the repetitive setup, monitoring, and maintenance work.
