Candace Mitchell
@loveCandyVWhat did she say about Cloudways ?
I’m glad that I could be a contributor! Cloudways was the first service provider that we trusted to build our company and product sites with. It was such an easy process to launch the servers that we needed to develop multiple MVPs in a short time frame during our participation in a startup accelerator.
I’m happy to see the changes and additions that Cloudways is implementing to continue satisfying their customers’ technical needs.

Candace Mitchell is a computer scientist from Atlanta, GA. she graduated from Georgia Tech in 2011 with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science. Techturized is a hair care startup that launched its first product called Myavana, a mobile app where women of color can discover new hairstyles, products, and local stylists in their area.
Daniel Fahlke
@FlyingmanaWhat did he say about Cloudways ?
Cloudways offers a pretty stable and performance-optimized platform for Magento, which makes it easy to use, even if you have no knowledge about managing your own server.
And it gets better, even as a developer I noticed no limitation on their setup, which I experienced with other specialized hosting solutions.
Who is he ?
Daniel Fahlke aka Flyingmana has more than 3 years of experience, working with Magento and is very active in the open source community. As part of a well known Magento agency he has worked with several e-commerce stores with different hosting platforms.
Ed Bull
@limesharpWhat did he say about Cloudways ?
I like the speed at which we could spin up a new server without having to specify anything in a ticket etc. As an agency, we setup development sites on our staging environment before we move them over to Amazon. This is mainly due to the cost. We can pack in loads of development sites onto this server especially as none of them get any real traffic.
I can’t remember if I saw it as an option but it would be pretty nice just to be able to start an Amazon instance in 1-click. We are able to configure it without the application launch. We would then be able to migrate our application and database onto the new server. I did really like the fact you install and configure the Varnish module automatically. We use a set of modules on every project which are pretty much essential for most Magento stores.

Ed Bull has the Bachelors degree from Leeds Metropolitan University and is currently serving as the Director of UK based agency Limesharp.

The installation and setup was a breeze and it was easy to find everything I needed (including a link to a tutorial on how to set up your ANAME record to point your domain name. @learnwithmattcWhat did he say about Cloudways ?
Speed of first loading the site in the frontend after tweaking the backend settings a little was slow. But once it was loaded, it was REALLY fast. I was able to switch to different pages and posts instantly. Not sure why the first load would take so long, but right out of the box the speed is impressive. Speed of the backend was AWESOME, and as a person who lives in the WP backend, that’s a huge plus for me.
In your backend, the add-ons and migration tools idea looks really promising. I’m excited to see your services progress over time.

“Life’s too short, and…” said a very reflective David. “I would much rather spend it thinking about shoe designs. With Cloudways, I’m optimistic they’ll be the last hosting platform we’ll ever need”--- David Bonney, CEO Atheist Berlin
DOWNLOAD CASE STUDY“Having worked with dozens of hosts during my career and having mixed experiences, I am pleased to say that Cloudways has been superb. I have finally found a super fast platform for hosting my client sites that is backed by quick, responsive, and helpful support. Their SLA says support time is within 30 minutes for urgent requests and 6 hours for other requests and I’ve yet to have for them even take that long…even for simple curiosity questions. I also have yet to have any downtime at all, which is exceptional. Overall, it has been a great experience and I am looking forward to many more years of working together! ” — Jeff Weese
Went through 4 hosts and finally landed with Cloudways. The hosting platform for Magento works excellent and they are continuously adding features. We were paying twice the price with half the performance with other hosts. The support is also great. Live chat all the time, they are responsive and [usually] very helpful. We have no reason to look at any other host at this point!” — Zach Curtis
