December is traditionally a slow month with everyone thinking of holidays and family. However, our support and engineering teams remained busy in making sure that our servers kept humming and that your support tickets were answered promptly.

Enhanced Application Password Management
As part of ongoing Platform improvements, we have introduced improvements to the password management process for Cloudways-hosted applications. In particular, this update affects WordPress and Magento applications. New Platform passwords have already been generated and shared with our users.
Apps Removed from 1-Click Installation
If you have recently tried to launch an application on an existing or a new server, you will find that we have removed several applications (Drupal, Joomla, OpenCart, etc.) from the application selection dropdown menu.
This decision comes because after analyzing the application launch data, we decided to only offer the most popular applications in the dropdown.
However, our Platform still supports all these applications and still offers the same optimized experience that you love. Now, to use these applications, you simply have to launch a Custom PHP application and set up your app within minutes, thanks to the native support for Composer and Git.
While we did not have a lot of releases in Q4, we have been working on our 2021 roadmap (and oh boy, it is looking good!)
We hope that with these enhancements, the Cloudways Platform will continue to add value to your business and you will enter the coming year with high-performing applications and managed servers.
