Can I disable Cloudways Copilot if I don’t want to use it?
Yes, you can opt out of Cloudways Copilot monitoring at any time through the Copilot settings in your dashboard. Note that any unused credits will be forfeited when you disable Cloudways Copilot.
What if I run out of my monthly credits?
If you exhaust your monthly credits, basic monitoring will continue, but you will not be able to generate Insights or apply SmartFix. In this situation, we recommend upgrading to a plan with higher credit limits.
Can I still access human support while using Cloudways Copilot?
Absolutely! Cloudways Copilot is designed as a first-responder for fast issue investigation and resolution within minutes. However, our expert support team remains available 24/7 to handle complex issues whenever the need arises.
Can Cloudways Copilot make changes to my servers and applications without my consent?
No. Cloudways Copilot does not make any changes on its own. All SmartFix actions require your review and approval before they are applied.
Can Cloudways Copilot automatically fix issues on my server and applications?
Yes. Once you give it permission, Cloudways Copilot SmartFix applies resolution steps automatically for server issues. For application-level issues, Cloudways Copilot generates Insights that contain a root-cause explanation and a set of actionable resolution steps.
What types of issues can Cloudways Copilot detect and diagnose?
Cloudways Copilot can diagnose a wide range of issues affecting your servers and applications. For servers, it diagnoses issues related to host health, the web stack, disk space, inode consumption, and backups. In addition, Cloudways Copilot can detect 5xx errors in WordPress and WooCommerce applications that could otherwise bring down your site.
Does Cloudways Copilot put any load on my server?
No. Cloudways Copilot is designed to have zero impact on server performance. Almost all Cloudways Copilot activity (including analyzing server metrics and logs) happens entirely on Cloudways infrastructure. As a result, your server and application performance will remain completely unaffected.
How accurate are Cloudways Copilot Insights?
Our engineering teams constantly review generated insights to ensure the accuracy of our diagnoses and recommendations. While our goal is to be as precise as possible, there is always a small chance that an insight may be less than accurate. This is where your feedback matters most, as we use it to continually train our systems and improve Cloudways Copilot.
Does Cloudways Copilot require any setup or configuration?
No, Cloudways Copilot is already enabled in your Cloudways Dashboard. You just need to select one of our pricing plans to start generating Insight reports and applying SmartFixes.
