Cloudways is pleased to announce the integration of Supervisord for Laravel applications (even for those which are launched on custom PHP stack). The Laravel queue manager/process monitor has been one of the top requested features from our Laravel users. After extensive trials, our DevOps team finalized the integration and made it available for the users.
Supervisord is an important addition to the Cloudways Platform because of the insights it offers into the jobs scheduled and /or running on the Laravel application. Before the introduction of Supervisord, users with Laravel applications had little options for monitoring queues used for jobs, event handling, emails, and notifications. The process of installing Supervisord is simple and involves simple configuration of Redis as the queue driver.
With this integration, we hope that the Laravel users of the Cloudways Platform will be more efficient and productive with greater insights and control over their Laravel application. Now they can easily start and manage supervised Laravel Queue workers on a Laravel server directly from Cloudways Platform. This allows easy processing deferral of time-consuming tasks, such as sending an email, until a later time. Deferring these time-consuming tasks effectively speeds up web requests to your application.
