There’s a common belief out there that it’s mostly older people who have problems with their vision. So, if a website or product caters to the under-40 only, it won’t need to be visually accessible. Right? Wrong! Vision impairments affect people of all ages â and many of them don’t even wear glasses.
Join us to find out from Vicent Sanchis, a web developer with a doctorate in Vision Science, what you should do to make sure your products are visible â and therefore saleable â to every single visitor of your website.
Vicent Sanchis Jurado has a PhD in Optometry and Vision Science, and he is also a web developer and a passionate advocate for accessibility on the web.
Vicent combines his work as an accessibility consultant with a position as a clinical optometrist in an ophthalmology clinic. Previously he has worked as an Associate Professor at the University of Valencia where he conducted research on visual perception and eye-tracking.
