Integrate WooCommerce Store with Facebook
The integration process has two important prerequisites – a Facebook page, and plugin installation for WooCommerce store.
1. Create a Facebook Page
Log in to Facebook, go to the top right and click the “Create Page” option.
In the next window, you will see several options including Brand or Product, Local Business or Place, Entertainment, etc. In this case, I selected “Brand or Product”.
Next, choose a category and a name. In this case, I choose the “Clothing” category. Next, name the page as “My Shop”, and click the “Get Started” button.
Next, complete the page requirements (such as adding a profile picture, cover photo/video and filling out the About section), and click the “Save Changes” button. The Facebook page is now ready for action.
At this point, the page is fully functional. However, it is always a good practice to add posts and related page content to give the page a balanced look.
2. WooCommerce Facebook Integration
You can use any plugin for WooCommerce Facebook integration. For the purpose of this tutorial, I used WooCommerce shop to Facebook, an easy-to-use plugin with a great feature set.
Install Shop to Facebook for WooCommerce Plugin
To install the plugin, go to your WordPress Admin Dashboard, navigate to Plugins > Add New. In the right-hand panel, click the search bar and enter “WooCommerce shop to Facebook By StoreYa”. Next, install and activate the plugin.

After activation, the tab for StoreYa Facebook Store plugin will appear in Settings > StoreYa Product Feed for WP-ecommerce.
3. Sign up for StoreYa
To sign up, follow these steps:
- Go to www.StoreYa.com
- Click the “Get Started Now” button.
- Signup with your email address, or log in using Facebook.
- Sign up to StoreYa
Once you are in, you will see several options, including “Facebook Shop”. Go ahead and click the “Read More” button.
Next, click the “Get App Now” button.
Next, choose your ecommerce platform. For the purpose of this tutorial, I went with WordPress with WooCommerce.
Next, to import the WooCommerce store to Facebook, add the URL of the store, and click the “Continue” button.
Next, click the Preview button and you will see the popup with the text: “Please log in, and choose the Facebook fan page you wish to connect your store to.”
Next, click the “Continue” button, select the Facebook page to add, and then click the “Add Page Tab” button.
You will be redirected to the StoreYa dashboard, and receive the success message: “Your store was successfully connected!”
Now it’s time to visit the Facebook store. For this, click the “Visit Facebook Store”. As you can see from the following screencap, all the products of the WooCommerce store are available on the Facebook store.
The best thing about the process is that everything on the WooCommerce store (all the products and categories) are automatically available on the Facebook store. Visitors can also check more details of the products under the “More Info” button.
Review the options and settings and once done, publish your store!
The best part is that when a user clicks the “Buy Now” button, they will be automatically redirected to the WooCommerce store product page.
