Public Cloud

Unlike a private cloud, a public cloud is a cloud infrastructure that is publicly available over the internet and typically leased by organizations through a third-party provider such as Cloudways. A public cloud can be accessed and used by multiple organizations simultaneously, and is the most common method of cloud deployment due to its flexible pricing and scalability.

Many of the major cloud infrastructure providers (such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform) are examples of public clouds; their services are available on-demand to anyone who is willing to pay for them. By using Cloudways as your managed service provider, you can utilise the public infrastructures offered by AWS, GCP and others.
A public cloud enables all organizations to benefit from a cloud-based infrastructure, since they are universally available at a flexible, manageable cost. There are several advantages of using a public cloud; these include ease of installation, increased agility and scalability, and the lack of need for maintenance (as this will be handled by your service provider).
A third-party supplier manages on-demand computing services and infrastructure in the public cloud, which is a shared IT paradigm used by numerous enterprises across the public internet. A public cloud uses a virtualized environment to extend a business’s IT infrastructure, enabling it to host some of its services and infrastructure on virtual servers that are located off-site and are owned by another party.
