Job Overview – Sr. Social Media Executive

We’re looking for a Sr. Social Media Executive to assist the Social Media Team with the day-to-day work, take ownership for the content process and execute the Social Media Strategy. Our ideal candidate is passionate about learning, has good English writing skills and looking to grow in their career. You’ll use our social media handles to share tips and other helpful content on cloud hosting, Ecommerce & Agency businesses and WordPress to establish Cloudways as a leader in the Managed Cloud Hosting industry. You’ll provide timely support to customers & users and manage reputation with care & expertise to build and maintain Trust. You’ll support all other teams to amplify their voice and reach on social media.  

Outcomes:

  1. Engage with positive, friendly energy that is accurate, builds trust, and creates opportunities to quickly solve problems or drive conversions.
  2. Collaborate with all internal teams where needed to offer timely response/support to all users and dispatch further assistance or opportunities where applicable (ie. Support, CS, sales, agency, WordPress, etc.)
  3. Document common responses into a social FAQ to improve response times and team enablement.
  4. Track KPIs daily and report on the dashboard weekly. KPIs: i) response rate ii) response time iii) number of responses.
  5. Work with management to identify and implement new ideas to improve workflows to save time and increase the effectiveness of social engagement.
  1. Plan a monthly calendar at least a week before the month starts with approval from Social Lead.
  2. Schedule all posts on Sprout Social to ensure timely execution at least 3 days before the month starts
  3. Collaborate with all internal teams (Agency, Persona, WordPress, Magento, SEO, Product, etc) for their social publishing needs.
  4. Write copy/captions for social media posts as the social media guideline and get them approved before scheduling the content.
  5. Collaborate with the Design Team to get designs prepared for all social media posts and get them approved before scheduling the content.
  6. Repurpose existing evergreen brand content (website, blog, reviews, webinars, YouTube etc) for social in various creative ways.
  7. Plan and execute at least 1 social campaign focused on engagement, impressions, brand building, trust or customer delight.
  8. Track KPIs for all activities and report weekly on the dashboard. KPIs:  i) No: of posts ii) Types of posts iii) No: of campaigns iv) No: of repurposed content
  9. Work with management to improve the Social Content process and the Social Media Style Guide. Share ideas and feedback to improve the workflow of Social Calendar. 
  1. Increase the followers of Cloudways social channels with targeted personas (Agency, Ecommerce and WordPress) by 10% every quarter.
  2. Increase brand awareness in USA and EU regions among targeted personas (Agency, Ecommerce and WordPress) by generating xx impressions by quarter end.
  3. Translate those targeted impressions into 10% traffic and from that 10% leads
  4. Share ideas and feedback to improve the workflow and to get better results.
  5. Track KPIs for all activities and report weekly on the dashboard. KPIs: i) Followers ii) Impressions iii) Traffic iv) Leads
  1. Increase brand engagement by xx among targeted personas (Agency, Ecommerce and WordPress) by planning and executing at least 1 contest and 1 giveaway every month.
  2. Create delightful monthly engagement activities for the FB Users Group and manage the group.
  3. Share ideas and feedback to improve the workflow and to get better results.
  4. Track KPIs for all activities and report weekly on the dashboard.  KPIs: i) Engagements ii) Engagement Rate iii) No: of engagement focused activities.
  1. Respond, forward, and document all customer reviews with an SLA of 24 hours.
  2. Document common responses into a Reviews FAQ to improve response times and team enablement.
  3. Highlight the positive brand image of Cloudways via reviews, rating, awards etc on social media, website, and blog.
  4. Build trust in Cloudways brand by executing at least 1 trust and/or delight building activity/campaign every month.
  5. Share ideas and feedback to improve the workflow, improve results and give suggestions for new initiatives to management.
  6. Track KPIs for all activities and report weekly on the dashboard. KPIs: i) No: of reviews responded & documented ii) Response time iii) No: of negative reviews managed, resolved and documented iv) No: of Trust building initiatives
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Skills / Attributes Required:

  1. A degree or equivalent marketing qualification (e.g. BS)
  2. Some experience within social media
  3. Strong grasp of English grammar and writing skills
  4. A creative and energetic personality
  5. A good eye for designs and aesthetics
  6. Strong presentation and analytical skills
  7. Strong desire to learn and grow
  8. Attention to details 
  9. Ability to work flexible working patterns to meet the needs of the business
  10. Ability to continually improve and enhance the company’s social media output
  11. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, pressured environment
  12. Experience of using Social Media automation tools like Hootsuite/Sprout Social.
