Mission:
Within two years, achieve brand and reach for Cloudways across social that meets or exceeds the level of companies like Salesforce, Nike, and Drift. Be seen as the leader in cloud-based applications for developers, customers, and end-users. Lead social team to deliver a BEYOND WOW reputation that makes our customers so proud they put Cloudways stickers on their laptops.
Outcomes:
1. Own and execute social media strategy and plan to double social impact (followers, impressions, and traffic) within 12-months
- Collaborate with marketing leadership to develop and execute holistic social media strategy across all channels to drive results around subscribers, followers, impressions, and overall traffic to brand
- Monitor social media posts, engagement, and comments for brand voice, consistency, and quality
- Develop and execute social content creation, repurposing, and distribution across channels to maximize results and reduce workload
- Collaborate with community, marketing, WordPress, agency, ads, and various teams to drive measurable social results
- Grow Cloudways community to over 10,000 customers and end users
- Create and maintain social media playbook and standard procedures and ensure compliance
2. Own social for product launches to maximize and drive key performance outcomes
- Collaborate with marketing leads to develop product launch strategy and plans for social
- Execute plans to to maximize engagement, impressions, and conversions
- Collaborate with other teams like WordPress, advertising, content, and agency teams to align social plans for maximize launch impact
- Report on results following launches and develop ideas to improve on every launch
- Create and maintain product launch playbook and standard procedures
3. Achieve next level social and review reputation by maintaining current rankings and growing footprint of reviews and reputation by X
- Maintain 4 or 5 star Trustpilot reviews & G2 review category placement
- Maintain 4.5 stars or better on miscellaneous review websites
- Expand review footprint by gaining foothold with TrustRadius, Gartner, and others
- Reduce negative reviews by responding, mitigating, and resolving 1 and 2 star reviews with customers by collaborating with PlatformOps, Support, and Engineering
- Monitor comments across all channels and coordinate with social, community, and other teams to respond to social threads with clear messaging and consistency of voice
4. Double impressions, traffic, followers, and engagement from in-person and virtual events
- Collaborate with event teams to develop comprehensive social strategy and plan to achieve specific results and outcomes from each major and minor event Cloudways participates in
- Manage and execute social and engagement plan for events before, during, and after events to maximize event impact for Cloudways brand
- Support and manage team members that are at events to create assets like photos, posts, and other content to maximize event impact for brand
- Monitor and manage event engagement, event partnerships, event leadership, to ensure Cloudways stays front and center during entire event engagement
- Report event results and opportunities for improvement to event teams following events
5. Lead social team to drive performance goals
- Work with social manager, social executive, and content writer to set and exceed goals
- Lead, manage, and hold social team accountable to quarterly Objectives and Key Results
- Lead regular weekly or bi-weekly cadence meetings
- Elevate issues to leadership team when appropriate to break through plateaus and obstacles
