As a Cloudways blog reader, you’re almost certainly one of the countless people who make up the global web community. You’re committed to making great stuff online and you want to get better at what you do. The skills that you have might center on design, development, UX, content, or something else. You might be a Cloudways customer or you might not. When it comes to community, that doesn’t matter. You’re still one of us.
Good things happen when people like us get together – online or in-person – and share what we know with each other. Community connections and events are an absolute highlight of this industry. That’s why we’re introducing something new – something for everyone. It’s the Cloudways Mavericks program, and it’s launching on December 3.
Cloudways Mavericks are a hand-picked group of industry leaders who are committed to making the global web community as strong as it can be. The group is dedicated to bringing people together, sharing knowledge in different ways, and helping all of us become more effective and efficient.
Our founding Mavericks are Jan Koch, the developer behind WPMastery; UX and design consultant Piccia Neri; and Lee Jackson of Agency Trailblazer. Three leaders in their fields who we are really pleased to bring together as Cloudways Mavericks. Which reminds me: as well as being experts in their own fields, they’re all Cloudways users who really know how to get the best out of our Platform, too.
The Mavericks themselves are busy coming up with ideas for the coming weeks and months. Keep an eye out for live presentations, appearances at industry events, expansion of our social media activities, and more.
Our first Mavericks event will be a free webinar. Jan, Piccia and Lee will take a real website that’s going through a global launch and break it down in terms of UX, UI and speed optimization.
