Give Application Level Access To Team Members Using SSH

Last year, we made it easier for users on Cloudways to manage projects by adding the Team Member feature. The account owner, specifically called the owner of the Master Credentials, could choose to give either a full access or limited access to a preferred team member. Similar to last year, we started 2017 from where we left off 2016. Cloudways have made it a mission to make some improvements to the Platform and its features. Cloudways introduced more than 150+ features along with numerous improvements to the Platform. One of the features improved inside the Platform included the Team Feature.

Previously, owners with Master Credentials could not give access to specific applications in SSH to their Team Members. However, our customers kept on asking for it, and it soon became one of the most sought-for features.

So, keeping up with the tradition of providing our users with the most sought for features, Cloudways engineers decided to allow Master Credential owners to give specific team members access to specific applications using SSH.

By enabling SSH Access for specific applications for particular users, it is now easier to manage projects and collaborate for success. Developers, agencies, and project managers can now work on applications in isolation, on the applications they need to work with. This paves the way for more focused teamwork and project management. Additionally, you can now open specific applications for specific users by isolating other users using the SSH access option. Enabling the SSH Access is as easier than ordering a donuts.
